New Year, New Season, New Hope?
Few things bring as much euphemistic joy to a native Philadelphian than a home team in the post-season. Yes kids, the Birds are in the playoffs!!!
And to make it that much sweeter, we won the NFC east. I know, the NFC east is a roller coaster of a conference this year, but still, to win 5 straight games with a backup QB is pretty impressive.
And how can I forget to mention that Dallas (sucks) and NY both took headers in the second half of the season this year! HAHA!!!! I guess things don't always work out the way you think they are going to! T.O. Who? Hey Shockey, cut that mullett!
And so the new year is here with a renewed hope - the Eagles bandwagon is moving along with a rather large crowd on board these days. I must admit that I left them for dead after McNabb went down - but who didn't? All I can do now is sit back and enjoy the ride.
Dallas STILL Sucks!!!

Refer to my musings today. Fat Andy and Koy (or is it Koi) aren't going to Miami as anything more than spectators. Get used to it. Your teams' destiny is to suck, and mine is glory-bound at the hands of Tony Romo (as long as our star receiver doesn't overdose again).
Seriously - good luck. I would love to see the Eagles vs Cowboys on 1/21. I know it's not physically possible, but mathematically, it could happen (if the Saints, Bears, Giants and Seahawks all forfeit).
