"Hi! My laptop is broken. Can you send it out for repair?"
"Sure! It will take a couple of weeks."
"Ok... Can I have a loaner? How about this one that says 'laptop loaner' on it?"
"No... that one is too new and might go out to someone else. We'll get you an older one."
WTF??? Too new??? Since when is an R51 too new?

Dude! They wanted to send my ($30)blackberry holster out for repair, instead of just replacing it!!!
Then I tried to get clever and asked about a loaner (which I had no intention of ever giving back). They just sat there staring and blinking at me!
P.S. I guess I'm just supposed to carry this thing around in my hand for the next two weeks. Unbelievable.
They'd rather risk damage and/or loss to a $300 device, rather than replace a $30 item. That's cost savings for ya.
